Eco-resorts Terms and Conditions

We strongly recommend that you purchase cancellation and health insurance for any trip to any of the destinations featured on this web site.

Responsibility: The vacation and holiday lodges, camps, airlines and operators  issue tickets and coupons covering hotel accommodations, transportation and other services and facilities only as agents for such other companies as furnish such services and facilities. Neither they nor their subagents shall be held liable for loss or damage or injury to property, or injury to person, caused by reason of any defect or negligence by any other transportation company, any hotel, any agency or any such party providing such services.The lodges and the operators reserve the right to withdraw any holiday package at any time and to make such changes  and alternatives as may be found necessary for the proper handling of the said vacation package.

Limitation of Liability:  By booking your vacation with Eco-resorts, you acknowledge that in any event Eco-resorts will not be liable for any consequential damages and the extent of Eco-resorts' liability shall never exceed the amount you actually paid to Eco-resorts International.

Prices are subject to change without notice:  In the event that the service or accommodations described in this web site cannot be provided due to delays or other causes beyond the control of Eco-resorts, Eco-resorts will try but shall not be required to provide comparable services or accommodations.

Eco-resorts reserves the right to alter itineraries if it should become necessary or desirable.

Payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation on an Eco-resorts package or lodge stay constitutes consent to all provisions, conditions and general information contained in this brochure.

All terms and conditions of Eco-resorts shall be governed by the laws of and in the country of  the USA.

Deposits and Payments: Your reservation is confirmed upon our receipt of a 20% (twenty percent)  deposit  per booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. If the balance is not paid, prior to 90 days to departure, the reservation will automatically be cancelled and the deposits will be forfeited. Late bookings will be accepted up to the day of departure if permitted by lodges and tour suppliers, subject only to space availability. There are no extra charges for last minute bookings.

Documents will normally be e-mailed 7 days after receipt of your full payment. Documents delayed due to late payment or late booking will require payment of any extra postage or courier charges by the customer.

Price Guarantee:  Prior to our receipt of your full payment, prices may be increased at any time without notice, including increases due to misprints or errors. Prices for bookings, which are paid in full at the time of a price increase, will not be charged a price increase.

Changes and Cancellations: All changes and cancellations must be made in writing. The date on which the letter is received by Eco-resorts will determine the cancellation or change fee applicable. Cancellation is defined as a termination of the entire trip. Change is defined as a change to the departure date, a change in name of traveling passenger and a reduction to the number of people in the party traveling. If air tickets have been issued, all exchange or cancel penalties imposed by the airline will apply.

Cancellations and fees for changes are charged to cover any costs of managing your travel arrangements and the risk we may not be able to sell this space to someone else. Any cancellation refunds you are entitled to will be automatically processed within 21 days of your cancellation. Note: Credit Card refunds typically take longer and may be subject to processing fees imposed by airlines.

 

If you cancel: 

Your refund will be:

Your deposit less US$ 150

Between 90-60 days before departure

No refund of deposit, but remainder of total payment refunded, less any prepayments made by Eco-resorts. 

Less than 30 days before departure

No refund available

We will not be liable to pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday as a result of situations outside of our control which neither we nor our suppliers could foresee or forestall even with all due care.  For example, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or main charterer, war, or threat of war, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disaster, bad weather, terrorist activity.

We do not control the day to day management of your accommodation, and in exceptional cases it is possible that we may be advised that the reserved accommodation is not available.  If this happens before your departure or on arrival in resort we will endeavor to provide accommodation of at least the same standard in the resort area.

Changes and Cancellations by Eco-resorts: Eco-resorts reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure. If a tour is cancelled, you may chose between a full refund or travel on an alternative tour. If the alternate tour is of lower value than originally booked, you are then entitled to a refund of the price difference.

Eco-resorts reserves the right to change any of the facilities, services or prices described in this web-site before a booking is made. Is such a change is made, you will be told at the time of booking. Eco-resorts will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as described, although reasonable changes may be made where deemed necessary.

Client Responsibility: The clients must be in possession of a valid passport and visas, permits, certificates and licenses including vaccination certificates required for the journey and the client accepts responsibility for the same. Eco-resorts will endeavor to give the best advise with regards to the same, but without responsibility.

Refunds: There are no refunds for unused services or portions of services.

Prices and Surcharges: Eco-resorts reserves the right to impose price surcharges or price decreases up to 90 days before departure due to changes in exchange rates, increases in transport costs, taxes, levy's or if any government action should require us to do so.
